How to reach Mumbai

By Air : Mumbai City being the financial capital of India, it is one of the busiest destinations of world. Many international airlines operate flights to Mumbai from various parts of the world. Indian Airlines and many private airlines connect Mumbai with all major tourist places in India. The international airport is at Sahar at 30 km distance in north of the city center, while the domestic is at Santa Cruz.

By Rail : Mumbai City is the headquarters of the Central and Western Railways. Trains to Mumbai from most central, southern and eastern regions arrive at Central Railway Terminus (CST), which is located in the heart of the city. CST railway station is well connected with all metro cities Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Calcutta, and Bangalore. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Dadar, Mumbai Central and Bandra Terminus are the main railway stations.

By Road : Maharashtra Transport Corporation operates bus services from Mumbai to other cities of India.

Climate : Most of the year, Mumbai's climate is warm and humid. Between November and February, the skies are clear, and the temperature is cooler. Mumbai?s humid season amid March and October are set apart by high humidity and temperatures of over 30°C and the annual temperatures varying from a high of 38°C to a low of 11°C. The best time to visit Mumbai is during the months of October to February, when the weather is at its best. If it is possible, visit Mumbai in August - September, during Ganesh Chaturthi, which is one of the biggest festivals in Mumbai City.
